Thin|king|man
Slate.
From an exhibition on the theme of Thinking.
I chose to work on the image of the Crucified Christ, as it contained all three inherent concepts, of Thin|King|Man. Thin through frugal living, his 'trial' and torture. King, as tradition tells us the plaque above him read “Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum,” (Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews} often abbreviated to INRI. And 'Ecce homo', declared when Pilate presents the scourged Jesus to the crowd, bound and beaten. ('Behold the Man!').
